Aldebaran is a rising brand in the apparel industry, based in Athens. The concept is still in the making. The brand's name derives from the traditional name of Arabic roots, al dabaran meaning "the follower". The clothing line has the vision to serve a fresh look with high aesthetic clothing, quality fabrics and a minimal tailoring. The brand aims to keep a mysterious and dark character.
For the logo I was inspired by the astrological significance of the aldebaran and designed a minimalistic bull's head combined with an inverted letter A. I aimed for the sign to carry a mysterious character and become some kind of symbol. The custom lowercase letters where created to reinforce this idea, all designed in a common sense and with slight influences from primitive forms of writing and symbols.
